Why ‘GARGANTUA’?
GARGANTUA is the name of the massive, fast-moving black hole that appeared in Interstellar, a blockbuster movie. The black hole’s mass is presumed to be 100 million times the size of the Sun. Since RIZON has been introduced last year, our team has been making improvements in preparation for future services. Much like the black hole, RIZON plans to expand its ecosystem and to do so, an upgrade is a must.

GARGANTUA UPGRADE
The RIZON mainnet (a.k.a Titan) 0.4.0 upgrade is anticipated to occur at the height of 5,113,000 blocks. As of now, the on-chain governance proposal was submitted on SEP 1st. Once the proposal passes, the RIZON Titan 0.4.0 upgrade will take place at a height of 5,113,000 blocks.
