HYUNDAI PAY, Business Strategy for the Year 2019
Dear Hdac Technology supporters,
A press conference was held to announce the business and technology strategies of Hdac Technology and HYUNDAI PAY, and in our previous posting, we looked into the technology strategies of Hdac Technology. This time, we would like to look into the business strategies of HYUNDAI PAY for the year 2019.
HYUNDAI PAY will expand its business, centered on killer services such as prepaid point payment services and real estate P2P services, which are blockchain-based FinTech businesses, and at the same time secure its customers and actively target the FinTech market by making a platform through its user-friendly wallet services.
Prepaid Point Payment Services
By issuing “Hdac Points (tentative name),” prepaid points that could be purchased with Hdac coins, we are planning to launch a payment service that could be used in real life within the third quarter of this year.
How to Charge Hdac Points
Users can easily change the crypto currency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) including Hdac coins that they hold in the coin exchange of their use into Hdac points by converting them at the market price at the time of the charge. On the other hand, we will strengthen the user convenience by enabling conversion into Hdac point in many different ways including partner company points, cash transfers, etc.
Hdac Point Usages
1. Smart Home IoT Services
By applying blockchain technology to IoT network, users can easily pay bills with Hdac points for maintenance, gas, and utility on Smart Home (Heriot, etc.), which provides a safer and more reliable device authentication and linkage system.
2. Offline Payment Services
Within this year, it will be possible to make easy payments with Hdac points by way of recognizing the franchise by scanning the QR code maintained in retail stores such as Café de Block and also by way of creating a QR code in the users’ smart phones and then recognizing the customer with a scanner.
3. Online Payment Services
It will be possible to use Hdac points as payment means when users purchase items through API and PG modules on online shopping malls and mobile applications.
4. Gift Certificate Purchase Services
It will be possible to purchase with Hdac points various gift vouchers such as department store vouchers, Gifticon, and etc., through Hdac wallet or partner companies’ online sales channels.
Real Estate P2P(Peer-To-Peer) Service
We are planning to launch services to select real assets such as real estate and generate profit to investors.
This service will comprise of introduction to investment products, evaluation of products, users’ credit rating, training and consulting, etc., and we are planning to guarantee a stable return on investment by preparing for FinTech products based on real assets. We are planning to provide a blockchain-based P2P platform that will enable easy management of real assets and reinvestment into various types of assets by linking with the abovementioned prepaid point payment services, and thereby expand the P2P financial service based on various assets in the future.
Wallet Service
We are planning to launch within this year new “wallet services” developed into a FinTech service platform for end users and business partners of the current Hdac Wallet.
By eliminating complex sign-up and authentication processes, etc., improving the user convenience and making an intuitive interface, general users who do not know about blockchain can promptly join the services with their phone numbers. We will also provide blockchain-based wallet services that could support various crypto currencies.
We will not only provide easy and friendly UX (user experience) but also multi-chain wallet, easy transfer, easy payment, point charge functions including two-sided (User and Business Partners) integrated services as a platform for various FinTech services. They will become portal-type services supporting prepaid point payment services and real estate P2P service. Once the environment is created, we will discover services that our customers want including personalized and customized services, through AI or data analysis, and we will continue to develop the platform.
HYUNDAI PAY and Hdac Technology will, through the prepaid point payment services, strengthen the convenience and usability to the users and fully expand our offline franchises and partner companies. Moreover, by expanding the scope of innovative FinTech services, such as wallet services and real estate P2P services, we will be in the forefront to enhance user convenience.
